Air Canada Launches New Tango Service Saturday Morning Between Abbotsford and Toronto

ABBOTSFORD, June /CNW/ - Tango by Air Canada takes to the skies
tomorrow morning with the only direct and, as of July 11, non-stop service
between Abbotsford and Toronto. A host of local officials including Mayor
George F. Ferguson, representatives of the Abbotsford Airport as well as Air
Canada staff will be on hand to inaugurate the newest Tango route. Festive
celebrations will include a ribbon cutting and a give-away of a pair of
tickets anywhere in the Tango network for one lucky passenger on the inaugural
flight.

Tango one-way fares on this route start as low as $239 with an additional
discount if bookings are made on-line. This fare is more than 80 percent off
the full economy fare, with no minimum stay or advance purchase requirement, a
convenient schedule and the opportunity to accumulate Aeroplan Miles
redeemable for future reward travel. In addition, Abbotsford Airport offers
free parking for up to 30 days for all passengers.

“The introduction of Tango is a welcome addition to Abbotsford`s rapidly
growing air services, providing Fraser Valley travellers direct access to
Pearson`s international route network and Canada`s financial capital,”  said
Curtis Grad, Airport General Manager in Abbotsford.
“We are excited to add Abbotsford to the comprehensive network Tango
serves from coast to coast,” said Ben Smith, Managing Director, Tango. “Fraser
Valley customers will enjoy Tango`s consistently low fares and user- friendly
website and can count on Air Canada`s reputation for providing safe and
reliable service.”
