American Airlines Increases Service from Raleigh/Durham

RALEIGH/DURHAM, N.C.—American Airlines will increase its service from Raleigh/Durham on Aug. 1 by adding a third daily nonstop flight to New York LaGuardia and three new nonstops to Boston using larger jets.


The new flights bring American`s total daily departures from Raleigh/Durham to 27 flights. The company`s regional affiliate, American Eagle, also operates 37 daily departures from Raleigh/Durham.


The new Raleigh/Durham to Boston flights will be flown using the 129-seat Super 80, which features American’s exclusive More Room Throughout Coach. American Eagle also will operate four departures per day to Boston using the popular 37-seat ERJ-135 Regional Jet.
