American Gears Up for Summer Travel from Mexico

FORT WORTH, Texas—American Airlines, together with regional carrier affiliate American Eagle, announced plans today to add five daily round-trip flights from three Mexican destinations to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, the airline’s largest hub.

This brings the total number of daily flights from nine Mexican destinations to 36. Flights will be added at the Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara airports and will begin on June 15 in time to meet the demand for the summer vacation season.

“This is further indication of our commitment to Mexico, a country we have proudly served for almost 60 years,” said Eli Vazquez, country manager for American Airlines in Mexico. “We are delighted that passengers to and from Mexico are choosing American Airlines.”

All passengers who travel on American Airlines in the main cabin will travel in the comfort of American`s popular “More Room Throughout Coach” interiors. American is the only airline that has expanded legroom throughout the coach cabins of its entire fleet of aircraft.
