ATA Names Pam Smith Vice President of Inflight Services

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 14, 2002—ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.) (Nasdaq:AMTR) today announced that Pam Smith has been named Vice President of Inflight Services, effective immediately. Smith will be based out of ATA`s Indianapolis headquarters and will report to ATA Executive Vice President of Marketing, Bill McKnight.

Smith, who has served as Director of Inflight Services at ATA since 2001, worked for American Airlines for 28 years where she held positions in aviation management and employee relations. She possesses a broad range of experience including contract negotiations, field experience, financial and administrative management and development.
