American Airlines is the Official Airline of the Muny`s 2002 Season

ST. LOUIS - American Airlines and the Municipal Theatre Association of St. Louis (The Muny) announce that American Airlines is the official airline of the theatre’s 2002 season.
American’s partnership with The Muny will include providing travel to St. Louis for Muny celebrity performers during the 2002 season. In exchange, American Airlines will be included in The Muny’s advertising campaign, including recognition in the nation’s largest and oldest outdoor theatre in historic Forest Park.

“We’re excited about sponsoring The Muny for a second year in a row,” said Karl McAfee, manager of promotions for American Airlines. “The Muny is truly an institution in St. Louis, and American Airlines is proud to be continuing a sponsorship that is so valuable for both partners.”
American took over The Muny sponsorship in 2001 after purchasing the assets of TWA. TWA had sponsored The Muny since 1999.

“American Airlines has been wonderfully supportive of The Muny,” said Dennis M. Reagan, president and CEO of The Muny. “It would not be so easy for people to ‘meet us at The Muny’ without American.”

Highlights of the 2002 Muny season include A Chorus Line, Hooray for Hollywood, Peter Pan, and Camelot.
