1 June 2002, Hong Kong: The oneworld airline alliance has expanded its lead as the most international of the global airline alliances, with its network now serving 135 territories and countries - 9 per cent more than the nearest rival airline alliance, Star.

The alliance will be holding a meeting this month in Hong Kong to unveil a range of new initiatives. To mark the event crew from the five oneworld carriers represented in Hong Kong took a short sail on The Star Ferry across Hong Kong`s Victoria Harbour to tour The Peninsula and afterwards enjoy a cool drink on its sun deck with Hong Kong`s impressive skyline in the background.
