Lufthansa passengers can rest assured during long-haul flights, enjoying all the highlights of World Cup games on cabin monitors. 
Starting June 1, the airline is including a daily, 15-minute round-up of the previous day`s games in its inflight entertainment programme. The programme is shown in German and English on all long-haul flights from Germany to overseas destinations and from overseas back to Germany. 

Additionally, passengers will be kept informed inflight with immediate updates on the score in ongoing World Cup games. To that end, Lufthhansa is planning to have all the results of games in progress transmitted by satellite to the cockpit. The captain will then pass them on promptly to the football fans in the cabin.
