United Airlines Puts Chicago and Denver on Sale

CHICAGO, May 14, 2002 å- United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) today announced a summer sale for travel to and from Chicago and Denver å- Unitedå‘s largest hubs.

        “The sale offers travelers an affordable vacation this summer - whether it be within the United States or overseas,” said Patricia Mash, Vice President - Revenue Management.  “The low fare levels for this sale provide an attractive incentive for vacationers. No other airline offers more flights or more seats to/from Chicago and Denver than United.”

        Tickets must be purchased at least 14 days in advance of travel and no later than May 24, 2002.  Travelers must stay over a Saturday night and complete their travel plans by September 30, 2002 in most cases.  For exceptions and additional restrictions, please refer to the fare facts below.

        The sale applies to travel throughout the 49 states, some Canadian and Hawaiian destinations and most international destinations served by United.

        In addition, passengers can save $5 on each roundtrip purchase and earn a 1,000 Mileage Plus bonus when booking at united.com (miles will be awarded upon completion of travel.)
