Singapore Airlines (SIA) will webcast its combined briefing for analysts and media “live” when it releases its full-year financial results on 17 May 2002.
This is the first time that SIA is webcasting its financial results briefing. Through the medium of the Internet, SIA hopes to give analysts, investors, shareholders and the media equal access to information.
Said Mr Teoh Tee Hooi, Senior Vice-President Finance and Administration, “By webcasting the briefing on our financial results, our shareholders, investors, potential investors and analysts will have access to the same level of information simultaneously. It also ensures that overseas-based investors and media are not disadvantaged just because they cannot physically be at the briefing.”
The webcast will be available “live” on www.singaporeair.com from 1710 hrs Singapore time on 17 May 2002. A “delayed” webcast can be viewed from 1900 hrs the same day, and an “on-demand” version will be available from 0900 hrs on 18 May 2002 for three months.
This webcast service is free. Interested parties can log on to www.singaporeair.com from today to register.
