Delta Air Lines Invites Vacationers to Experience the Comfort of Business Class

ATLANTA, May 7, 2002—Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today announced it is offering vacationers traveling to international destinations special business class fares. The discounted fares apply for travel from the United States to numerous international destinations in business class and Delta’s award-winning BusinessEliteä cabin. For customers who have never experienced Delta’s premium service, now is their chance - tickets are on sale through May 14, 2002, at only.

Travel at the sale fares to destinations in Asia, Europe and Latin America may commence as late as Sept. 30, 2002. Customers must purchase tickets at least 30 days in advance and stay a minimum of seven nights for fares to Europe and five nights for fares to Central America, South America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Japan. Travel between the United States and Asia is permitted Monday through Thursday only. All travel has a maximum stay of 30 days and must be completed by Oct. 30, 2002. In addition to great savings, customers earn a SkyMiles bonus of 1,000 miles for each round trip or 500 miles each way for each ticket purchased at And, when travelling on these fares in the BusinessElite or business class cabin, customers earn Delta’s standard SkyMiles program, class-of-service bonus of 125 percent of the base mileage.
