Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today announced a SkyMiles bonus for travel to five South American cities between May 1 and June 30, 2002.
SkyMiles members may earn up to 25,000 bonus miles if they purchase and travel on a round-trip Delta flight, connecting through Atlanta, to Buenos Aires, Argentina; Bogota, Columbia; Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil; or Santiago, Chile. Members traveling on a ticket booked in D, J or C class (the C class ticket only applies to the Bogota flights) will earn 25,000 bonus miles per round-trip flight; a ticket booked in Y, B, M or I class will earn 15,000 bonus miles per round trip; and a ticket booked in H or K class will earn 5,000 bonus miles per round trip.

To receive the bonus miles, members must enroll in the promotion and complete travel between May 1 and June 30, 2002. Travel must originate in the United States and connect through Atlanta.
