As early as June 1st, this year the number of connections between Poland and Germany offered by LOT Polish Airlines will increase. This is the outcome of the code-share agreement on joint operation of connections by LOT and Lufthansa, signed on April 4th,2002. Ticket sales for joint operations will commence on May 2th.
Thus, passengers in Poland and Germany receive a joint and richer air carriage offer , better tailored to their needs . One of the changes introduced, which - no doubt - will be positively received by passengers is a considerable increase in the number of flights on the given routes:

Warszawa - Frankfurt; 6 connections daily (2 previously) / Warszawa - Munich; 5 connections daily (2 previously) / Warszawa - Düsseldorf; 4 connection s daily (2 previously)
LOT passengers will be able to take advantage of the following direct Lufthansa connections:
Warszawa - Stuttgart; 6 connections weekly / Katowice - Frankfurt; 2 connections daily / Katowice - Düsseldorf; 5 connections weekly.
Apart from the above connections LOT Polish Airlines offer to their passengers the following connections between Poland and Germany:
Warszawa - Berlin; 2 flights daily / Krakow - Frankfurt; 1 flight daily / Wroclaw - Frankfurt; 1 flight daily / Gdansk - Frankfurt; 1 flight daily / Poznan - Düsseldorf; 1 flight daily / Gdansk - Hamburg; 1 flight daily.
Thanks to the code-share agreement signed between LOT and Lufthansa passengers receive not only access to a much richer offer representing direct, more convenient connections between Poland and Germany, but also the possibility of using business lounges and earning points in frequent flyer programmes, irrespective of whose aircraft of the two carriers they travel on
