ST. GEORGE, UT—SkyWest Airlines, Inc. reported a 98.0 percent increase in revenue
passenger miles (RPMs) for March, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 64.8 percent
compared to the same period last year. The airline generated 245.2 million RPMs for the month,
while ASMs increased to 346.7 million. Load factor increased 11.8 percentage points to 70.7
percent compared to 58.9 percent for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for March
totaled 707,120 a 34.8 percent increase over March 2001.
