Following a reorganisation of the sales department, Virgin Atlantic is pleased to announce the airline`s new sales team under the management of Paul Dickinson, Director of Sales and Distribution and Paul Wait, General Manager, Sales.
Rachel Finn has been appointed as Head of Corporate Sales and will lead a team of Sales Managers to concentrate solely on new business account acquisition in the business travel segment. Rachel has worked for Virgin Atlantic for 13 years.
Andrew Dale has been appointed as Head of Corporate Account Management and his team will be responsible for the retention and development of business with Corporate accounts and major Corporate agencies. Andrew joined Virgin Atlantic in 1996.
The newest recruit to the Sales team is Fabio Maran who has been appointed as Head of Leisure Sales. Fabio joins Virgin Atlantic from Alitalia where he held a similar position. Fabio will be responsible for relationships with the Leisure Agencies.
Lucinda Brock has been appointed as Manager Sales Operation Support overseeing internal UK Sales staff. Karen Johnson will remain in the position of Manager Interline/Offline.
Commenting on the new sales team, Paul Wait, General Manager, Sales said:
