Finnair daily to Bangkok begins Thursday
Finnair will start daily flights between Helsinki and Bangkok beginning Thursday, February 14. Four of the Bangkok flights will continue to Singapore, three will continue to Hong Kong.
The departure time from Finland is 23.30 and arrival time in Bangkok is 14.40 the next day. The flights leave Bangkok at 00.50 and arrive in Helsinki at 07.00 the same morning.
“Finland’s geographic location makes it the fastest connection between Asia and Northern Europe. Our goal is to give our passengers the best possible service by adding frequencies to our destinations,” says Vice President of Network Strategies and Management Petteri Kostermaa.
“The daily Bangkok flight is a part of Finnair’s strong traffic expansion in Asia. Our competitiveness can be seen from our passenger numbers in Asian traffic which grew over 17% last year.”
Finnair carried a total of 280 000 passengers to and from Asia last year. The number of passengers in Asian traffic is expected to increase up to 400 000 per year.
