Airline Welcomes Removal of Strike Threat Following All-day Talks at Labour Relations Commission (LR

“Aer Lingus welcomes the removal of the strike threat that had faced our customers on Monday next”, a spokesman for the airline said tonight. This followed day-long talks with the Labour Relations Commission (LRC) regarding the pilots dispute involving the trade union IMPACT.

The spokesman said the agreement reached this evening “should pave the way for a resolution to this dispute through the early arbitration on the changes in the company`s Survival Plan.”
