Sabre Launches First GDS Merchant Model Hotel Program

(NYSE: TSG) today announced the launch of the Sabre(R)
Exclusives(SM) preferred hotels program, the first merchant model program for
travel agents developed and integrated into a global distribution system
(GDS).
 
Through the Sabre Exclusives program, Sabre merchandises hotel rooms at
selected U.S. hotels through the industry leading Sabre Connected(SM) U.S.
agency network, enabling those agencies to better serve their cost conscious
travelers while earning guaranteed commissions.  More than 800 hotels have
already agreed to participate in the program.
 
Sabre Exclusives is a key component of the Empowering Agenda that Sabre
recently introduced, designed to empower U.S. travel agents to better compete
in today`s pay-for-performance environment.  Leisure hotel bookings represent
a significant growth opportunity for agencies looking to generate new sources
of revenue.  This program helps agencies to shop and book Internet-type rates
—with a Low Rate Guarantee—using familiar formats with the Sabre(R)
system.
