Under the agreement, X-TANT will deliver Traveleye to over 300 users in Hoppaway`s chain of call centres across the UK. According to the Gateshead-headquartered agency, which last year enjoyed turnover of £25m, the system will enable its consultants to improve look-to-book ratios and boost productivity at the company, which handles over 33,000 bookings a year.
Another key factor behind the agency`s decision to adopt Traveleye was the system`s e-mail functionality, which will enable Hoppaway to target customers with tailored e-mails about its products and services.
Said Hoppaway`s managing director Jane Atkinson: “Traveleye`s position at the forefront of travel technology is unassailable and we are excited about rolling it out across the group. We believe the system will enable us to maximise the speed at which we make bookings and to offer an enhanced customer service.”
Said X-TANT`s travel market manager Howard Tinker: “Call centres are confirmed as a vital feature on the agency landscape. This deal with Hoppaway underlines the role that Traveleye is playing in their success. Telephone customers need even more reassurance and advice than face-to-face clients. With its wealth of essential travel information and range of bookable products, Traveleye is a powerful selling weapon in any agent`s armoury.”
