Travelocity to Create Orlando `Super Site`

Travelocity.com, the most
popular travel site on the Web, and the Orlando/Orange County Convention &
Visitors Bureau, Inc. (Orlando CVB) today announced a new marketing
partnership that will create a one-stop-shopping experience for travelers
heading to the Orlando area.
The partnership includes a combination of
massive cross-promotional opportunities, targeted Internet advertising,
expanded content exposure and direct destination bookings.

A major element of the relationship is the creation of an “Orlando Super
Site” within Travelocity.com .  This special section will feature expanded
travel information provided by the Orlando CVB, as well as great travel
discounts and the largest online selection of car rentals, hotels, airfares,
cruises and vacation packages that the Orlando area has to offer.

Earlier this year, Travelocity.com

established partnerships with Universal
Orlando, which provided for e-ticketing through Travelocity.com , and Walt
Disney Parks and Resorts, which dynamically packages Disney products under the
Travelocity Vacations brand.  The exclusive agreement with the Orlando CVB
will allow Travelocity.com to build a Super Site for the Orlando area, replete
with extensive travel information, as well as expanded options and better
discounts for travelers planning a trip to the area.
In addition to the improved selection of vacation deals and travel
information now available on Travelocity.com , travelers can sign-up to
receive a free Vacation Planning Kit including a copy of the Orlando Visitors
Guide, Accommodations Guide and the Orlando Magicard(R), worth up to $500 in
discounts to area attractions and businesses.

“Travelocity.com understands Orlando`s prominence as one of the world`s
leading vacation destinations,” said Chris McAndrews, senior vice president
leisure travel and media of Travelocity.com.  “We will continue to work with
more travel suppliers that have offerings to or in Orlando to create greater
benefits for travelers.”

Through the Orlando CVB`s Web site, www.orlandoinfo.com , consumers will
be able to access Travelocity.com products to book air and car reservations
online.  Other Travelocity products, such as travel packages, will be added
later in the year.

“This is a great example of a win-win relationship,” said Jose Estorino,
senior vice president of marketing for the Orlando CVB.  “One of the leading
online travel brands partnering with one of the leading vacation destinations
makes a great combination.  Also, with the new Orlando Super Site, travelers
across the globe using Travelocity.com will have access to more travel
information dedicated specifically to Orlando restaurants, events, shopping,
arts, culture and nightlife.”
