Northwest`s Named Best Airline Web Site by Business Travelers

Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq: NWAC) have announced that its
Internet site was named, “Best Airline Web Site” by OAG
International at the publication`s 20th annual awards ceremony.  The winners
were selected based on a survey of frequent business travelers who are
customers of OAG.
 

“nwa.com makes it easy for business customers to plan their travel,
check-in and obtain a boarding pass for their trip, track the status of their
flight and take full advantage of Northwest`s WorldPerks program, including
special services for those who have achieved Elite status,” said Al Lenza,
Northwest`s vice president of Distribution and E-Commerce.  “All of us at
Northwest are honored that OAG`s global audience of savvy and sophisticated
business travelers have recognized nwa.com as the industry`s best airline Web
site.”

was just one of five sites from airlines throughout
the world nominated for best airline Web site honors.  The winner was
announced earlier this week at an awards ceremony in London, England.

proud of their achievement, in what has been an extremely difficult year,”
