UnitedEscapes(SM) travel packaging service, a comprehensive online travel
planning tool. 
Travelers can create their own personalized UnitedEscapes
packages by combining travel on United, with car and/or hotel accommodations
into a single special-value price.
To celebrate the introduction, customers
earn 2,500 Mileage Plus(R) Bonus Miles in addition to standard flight miles
for each package purchased.
  “United continues its commitment to serve its customers by leveraging
technology to provide better products and services.  We believe UnitedEscapes
complements our current suite of offerings and will appeal to a wide range of
travelers,” said Adam Levy, Director of Product Management of the Travel
Distribution division of UAL Loyalty Services.  “The core users will be
do-it-yourself travel planners that seek customization, convenience and
cost-savings.”
 
The UnitedEscapes service offers travelers the ability to combine United
flights with high quality hotel or car accommodations.  Packages are created
using technology provided by Neat Group, Inc., and are drawn from a large pool
of inventory that is available for next weekend or well in advance of travel.
Unlike fixed travel packages currently available on Internet travel sites,
consumers know exactly what their air, car, and hotel brands are prior to
purchasing and can choose elements of their package based on their preference.
The entire package is combined into a single special-value price, including
most taxes and fees that are often not included in other price quotes.
 
UnitedEscapes packages are created with special fares from United Airlines
and rates from United`s car and hotel partners, which means that customers
will have access to many promotional deals.  The expanding list of top-quality
UnitedEscapes partners includes Cendant Corporation, Hilton Hotels
Corporation, Hyatt Hotels Corp.,  Marriott International, Inc., Outrigger and
OHANA Hotels & Resorts, Prince Resorts Hawaii, Six Continents Hotels, Inc,
Avis Rent A Car System, Inc., Budget Rent a Car Corporation and Hertz Rent A
Car.
