eCLIPSE Advisors Announce Marketing Partnership with GetThere

today announced a marketing relationship with GetThere
, a Sabre Company, the leading provider of Internet-based corporate travel procurement systems.
Under the agreement, eCLIPSE Advisors` DACODA Travel Procurement Solution will integrate with GetThere`s online corporate travel system using a pathway that GetThere created to automatically upload market-based supplier preferences. In the past, large corporations have manually entered hundreds of these parameters into their online travel management systems to identify which suppliers should be used by travelers for certain destinations. GetThere will refer customers to eCLIPSE when the combined solution matches specific needs.

Through the combined offering, corporate travel managers and procurement professionals will be able to use DACODA to analyze and negotiate their preferred airline portfolio and seamlessly update their online reservation system with the latest point-of-sale strategy.

“One of the greatest benefits of GetThere`s online travel solution is that corporations can dynamically influence employees` use of different airlines, hotels and car rental agencies in order to ensure a company meets its contracted levels,” said Jane Stampe, vice president of distributor sales at GetThere. “The combined GetThere and DACODA offering enables enterprises to intelligently analyze their contracts and automatically enter and shift preferences in the online system to meet travel volumes and ensure that company directives are communicated and followed.”

Introduced in 1994, the DACODA solution monitors all relevant schedule and fare changes and blends this information with clients` shifting business needs and travel patterns to ensure that travelers are guided to select the right supplier choice every time. A comprehensive reporting package provides insight into incremental savings and incremental opportunities, compliance offenders and detailed contract performance information on a regularly scheduled basis.


With a portfolio of more than 50 Global 1000 corporate customers, DACODA manages combined global travel expenditures of more than $2.5 billion and has delivered more than $100 million in incremental air travel savings to these clients since its introduction.
