Online Bookings Rise for ATA.Com

ATA (American Trans Air) has announced that reservations made online via the Company`s website at ATA.com rose 57 percent on Monday, April 8, 2002, compared to the record previously achieved in January 2002.
In addition, the number of average bookings per day thus far for the year 2002 is 46 percent higher than the number of average bookings per day for the entire year of 2001. The first two weeks of April have shown significant growth with average bookings for April 1 through April 9, 2002 at 65 percent higher than average bookings for all of 2001.


Since the debut of the Company`s online booking engine in 1999, ATA`s online booking growth has risen rapidly month-by-month. “Our rising numbers are a testament that our customers find using ATA.Com an easy and effective alternative,” said Don Moonjian, ATA Vice President of Marketing. “In addition to the convenience factor, customers are pleased with the many discounts and special incentives ATA offers them when booking airfare via the website.”
