Sabre Alliance with Solutions Worldwide. has announced a formal Strategic Distribution Alliance with Sabre whereby`s technology solutions will be marketed to travel providers and loyalty programs internationally by Sabre.
A growing portfolio of solutions includes the pointspurchase, pointsxchange and pointscorporate solutions. solutions sold through the alliance will be co-branded as “powered by”. Sabre will primarily focus on international markets, working with`s business development team, which has traditionally focused on the North American marketplace. With operations in 45 countries, the Sabre marketing network has global reach and established relationships with major travel providers worldwide.

Sabre and will share revenue associated with the sale of the solutions, and will manage the development and implementation of all solutions.

“There are over 100 frequent flyer and guest programs worldwide and hundreds of millions of frequent flyer accounts worldwide,” said CEO Rob MacLean. “With annual growth rates for loyalty programs in the double digits, the opportunities for, and for our new alliance with Sabre, are exciting.”

The agreement builds on an existing relationship between and Sabre. In November 2001, the two companies announced an agreement that allowed travellers using the Sabre Virtually There electronic itinerary system and portal Web site to exchange points or miles from one loyalty program partner account into another.
