For a limited time, Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is offering reduced mileage awards to SkyMiles members traveling within the continental United States and Alaska. A SkySaver domestic award is now available to SkyMiles members at a reduced rate of 20,000 miles for coach class or 35,000 miles for first class.
To confirm a flight with a reduced mileage domestic SkySaver Award, SkyMiles members should go to delta.com/awardticket. Reservations must be made and travel must be completed by March 20, 2002.
“We encourage SkyMiles members to experience the convenience of this reduced mileage award through ?eAward Ticket,?f Delta?fs online redemption feature,” said Rob Borden, Delta?fs general manager of SkyMiles Customer Loyalty Programs. “Not only will members enjoy Award Travel for less, but they will also be saving valuable time.”
Normally SkyMiles members must have 25,000 miles to redeem for a coach class or 40,000 miles for a first class SkySaver Award within the continental United States and Alaska. SkySaver awards are subject to capacity controls pending seat availability and, except as otherwise stated here, all standard Delta SkyMiles program rules, fees and conditions apply.
To check award seat availability or to confirm reservations and redeem miles for these and other awards, SkyMiles members may go to delta.com/awardticket. Those without Internet access may call the number on the back of their membership card or Delta reservations at 800-323-2323.
