Rewe Travel New Media GmbH - Frankfurt, is to use the new Hitchhiker Internet Booking Engine (IBE) version 2.0, for the simultaneous display of net and published fares on the Internet.
With the launch of Rewe Travel New Media`s on-line travel portal, the HitchHiker IBE will ensure the accurate display of net and published fares, together with complete validation of the complex tariff and routing restrictions.

With Internet applications, it is extremely important to prevent invalid reservations, being made by the end user. The HitchHiker IBE therefore ensures that only available rates are displayed and that no invalid flights are booked.

The new travel portal will use Worldspan`s GDS technology for its scheduled flight requirements.
