Galileo Strategic Alliance with AFOOFA

AFOOFA, Inc., a leading technology and infrastructure provider for the global
travel industry, recently formed a strategic business alliance with Galileo
International, the leading provider of electronic global distribution services
(GDS) for the Asia Pacific region, to create a Private Label version of their
award-winning Business Travel Management System (BTMS). 
Bringing cost savings
and enhanced value to Galileo Travel Agents and their prospective corporate
end users in Asia Pacific, this alliance will leverage the unique technology
of BTMS to facilitate corporate customers gaining control over the management
of their own business travel.  BTMS enables agencies to focus on the business
of travel management, and evolve their own customer relationships.
  Commenting on the alliance with Galileo, Alex Kong, CEO and chairman of
AFOOFA said, “With Galileo`s high-profile corporate customer-base and market
penetration in Asia Pacific, this is a strategic initiative to market BTMS to
a targeted audience in this region.  Through this alliance, we will be able to
reach out to top corporations in the region and help keep their travel costs

The initiative between AFOOFA
and Galileo
affords both parties the
opportunity to leverage each other`s proven regional expertise and market
knowledge on business practices and consumer patterns.  Kaung added, “AFOOFA
and Galileo will combine their strengths and expertise in meeting global
travel management needs, by raising the value and performance of our services
and solutions.”
BTMS, an innovative corporate self-booking tool, helps corporate users
manage their travel expenses by ensuring compliance with travel policies, bias
towards preferred partners and real-time access to their negotiated rates.  It
allows them to have better control over their travel requisition, approval,
reservation and report generation processes.
