Tiscover has launched what it says is the most advanced integrated reservation-distribution system for tourist boards, DMOs and travel providers.
Tiscover2002 enables tourist boards and DMOs to distribute across multiple channels, including the internet and call centres, with bookings processed automatically through the system`s back-office functionality.
In addition, all organisations using Tiscover2002 - including hotels, resorts, hotel co-operations and attractions - will be able to reach a wider market than ever as they can sell through both Tiscover`s main portal, Tiscover`s national websites across Europe and their own websites.
Tiscover operates portals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein - and is committed to Europe-wide expansion - featuring in-depth tourist information on over 3200 tourist regions, towns and cities. Last year, its sites attracted over 50 million visitors, generating 200 million page views. Furthermore, Tiscover boasts partnerships with leading ISPs T-Online, AOL and Compuserve and is featured on Travelchannel.de
Office Management (OM) is the name of the new overall solution developed by Tiscover especially for tourist boards and booking centres of resorts, regions and hotel providers. With these new OM-tools, Tiscover2002 automates tourism providers` entire reservations processes, resulting in dramatically reduced booking times. The new system also makes updating availability easier as changes made by customers are dynamically updated across all Tiscover websites on which they are represented, reducing support time and improving data integrity levels. Moreover, users are even able to surf the Tiscover portals using WAP phones.
Office Management stands for products such as Booking Centre, Room Info and Address/CRM, the professional Customer Relationship Management, allowing companies to archive data on tourists` bookings and enquiry histories to be used in marketing campaigns. The products may be used as a package or individually.
