Majorca specialist Dedicated Holidays has announced it is adopting TravelOption`s low-cost operator system.

According to the UK-based operator, a key factor behind its decision was the ability of the TravelOptions` solution to facilitate easier communication between its headquarters and resort office in Majorca. The operator plans to harness the system`s auto-email and auto-fax functionality to send bookings details to its Majorca office direct from the TravelOptions` desktop.

In addition, the operator is considering a new TravelOptions` solution, allowing the operators resort offices remote access to the TravelOptions system across the internet. Dedicated is the latest operator to sign to TravelOptions. Other companies harnessing the solution includeTravel Extras, Ski World, Short Breaks and Cottages to Castles.

According to TravelOptions, its system is one of the most cost-effective front-, mid- and back-office system on the market because it operates on a PC server removing the need for high-cost, high-maintenance server systems. As a result the solution can operate across up to 200 individual PCs or dumb terminals, at speeds faster than high-cost products.
