MilePoint.com has introduced a new system that will allow corporations to use Northwest`s WorldPerks miles as a sales or performance incentive for a company`s customers or employees.
Hosted by MilePoint, the Northwest MilesAbove corporate program along with the Buy and Gift miles programs allow members new ways in which to earn free travel. Through the Buy and Gift Miles programs, WorldPerks members can top off their personal account to reach an award level, or send miles to another person as a gift. An individual can buy in increments of 2,500, 5,000 or 7,500 miles with a cap of 7,500 per account annually.
“The new products we have developed at MilePoint allows us to build transaction volumes and new mileage sale revenues for those in the travel, incentive and reward industries. The sale of miles has become a big business and our new corporate incentive product will enable any airline that participates to efficiently sell to both the consumer and the corporate client in the online world,?h said Bob Crandall, former Chairman and CEO of American Airlines and MilePoint board member.
