BA Joins Forces with Yahoo

British
Airways is joining forces with Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO), a leading global
Internet communications, commerce and media company, to offer travelers the
once-in-a-lifetime chance to win one of 20 Concorde dream vacations for two.
The two travel experts are also teaming up to launch the
first transatlantic seat sale on Yahoo!(R) Travel (http://travel.yahoo.com)
with fares from as low as $174 one-way from New York to London on subsonic
flights.
 
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Yahoo! Travel to offer
travelers the chance to win a supersonic trip of a lifetime,” said David
Noyes, British Airways` Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing for North
America.  “In addition, we`re confident travelers looking for great deals to
the UK and Europe, will find what they`re looking for at
britishairways.yahoo.com.”
 
Beginning March 6, 2002, for ten days, U.S. residents will have the
opportunity to enter for a chance to win a Concorde Dream Vacation for two.
The package includes air travel from the British Airways` U.S. gateway nearest
to their home to New York City, a two-night stay at a deluxe New York City
hotel, a supersonic Concorde flight to London, three nights stay at the
premier five-star Landmark London Hotel, and Club World (business class)
return air travel to the U.S. on British Airways.
 
Additionally, from March 6 through March 15, 2002, travelers can book
online and take advantage of remarkable fares for travel between April 1 and
June 15, 2002, to Britain and Europe.  For example one-way fares: Boston to
Madrid starts as low as $294, San Francisco to Rome starts at $324 and Chicago
to London for $239.
