Pegasus Solutions Signs Agreement With USFS.
Hotel company, U.S. Franchise Systems, USFS, has signed an agreement to outsource its CRS to Pegasus.
Under the two-year contract, USFS will replace the CRSs used by its three hotel brands, Hawthorn Suites, Microtel Inns & Suites and Best Inns & Suites, with Pegasus Solutions` RezView CRS.
USFS is an Atlanta-based, service industry franchising company and with 515 hotels, it is the nation`s eighth largest hotel company in terms of numbers of hotels. The system implementation is expected to be completed by July 1, 2002, and will enable USFS to consolidate all of its brands` room inventory into one system with a common format. As a result, its reservations agents will be able to book all USFS hotels via a user-friendly interface to one system: RezView. By using Pegasus Solutions` CRS and advanced distribution technology, USFS hopes that its franchise hotels will be able to manage their room rates and inventories more effectively.
