KDS Awarded for Technological Innovations

KDS has received the Business Travel Development Award for the technological innovations it brought in 2001 to the business travel market.
The BTW Annual Award and Celebration Dinner was held last Monday at Le Méridien Grosvenor House in London.

“The BTW Awards jury was impressed with KDS`s advanced e-booking solution technology,” said Betty Low, Editorial Director Business Travel World. “But above all, the jury realize that KDS is not just marketing concept but a proven product that actually works and that is used, each day, in companies across the world.” Added Low, “For the last eight years KDS has consistently brought to the market cutting-edge products that are greatly contributing to better business travel management process. That was a key factor in rewarding KDS with the.” Breaking new ground in practice of travel management, showing evidences of demonstrable efficiency and service-level improvements for corporations and travellers, improving data power, reducing process and transaction costs, enabling administrative savings were the winning criteria for the Business Travel Development Award. On this basis, KDS was rewarded for having grown from a niche product to appealing across the board, as its entry was backed up by strong customer testimonials.

The Business Travel World awards are given in recognition of excellence and achievement within the corporate travel market:

The jury was composed of seven travel experts and professionals, Paul Allan (Chairman of Ian Allan Travel), Allen Grimley and Marilyn Clifton, former BTW Travel Managers, Tony Pilcher (HSBC), Ian Scott (PricewaterhouseCoopers), Paul Wait (Virgin Atlantic) and was chaired by Sue Lewis Neilson, Corporate Travel Manager of the Year 2000.
