iPerceptions Inc. has created industry norms for websites in the Hospitality sector.
Using the webValidator solution to collect feedback from over 15,000 actual visitors of major hotel websites, the aggregated data represents more than 500,000 data points.
Normative comparisons were captured for ratings in 8 critical areas for determining website success including navigation, responsiveness and likelihood to return.

Armed with this data, iPerceptions` customers in the hotel industry can compare the performance of key website attributes versus their competition. The aggregated Hospitality database also contains important demographic information for website managers. It includes the percentage of business versus leisure travelers, a breakdown of the frequency and purpose of visits to the sites and more. Supported by compelling information such as 27% of respondents were online to make reservations and 32% were business travelers, iPerceptions` customers can quickly make clear, concise and accurate evaluations of their site`s effectiveness versus the norm.

Identification of key areas for improvement and validation that online strategies are successful will ensure the site is closely aligned with targeted users` needs, wants and expectations and builds sustainable competitive advantage.

This aggregated data is based on webValidators run on sites owned by major hotel properties including Holiday Inn, Omni, Sheraton, Wellesley and Westin.
