Multi-Systems and Lexington Services Team up to Offer Hotel Reservations Service

Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI), a leader in property management technology for the lodging industry, has partnered with Lexington Services, a part of MyTravel Group, to offer hotels a two-way interface for streamlined inventory management.

The new interface allows the bi-directional, seamless flow of information between the GDSs and Lexington`s SPIRIT(tm) Hotel Reservation System, powered by CSC Services, and MSI`s property management and sales & catering systems. This integrated process means hotel rates and availability are updated real-time across the board, allowing for last-room availability.
“Together, MSI and Lexington Services are simplifying operations for hotels with truly integrated systems that will move GNRs and inventory seamlessly,” said Brian Primeau , vice president of New Business Development, MSI. “With the new interface, hotels simply can change rate and availability information in their PMS, and that information will be updated real-time in the SPIRIT system, the GDSs and the MSI sales & catering and property management systems.”

“Linking our central reservation system with MSI`s property management system is one more way we offer value-added services to our hotel clients,” said Zolon Wilkins III, president of Lexington Services. “By using a two-way interface, we are streamlining and improving the reservations process for hotels.”
