Resort Systems Inc. (“RSF”), a leading developer of property management and reservation systems for the hospitality industry worldwide, has announced that Ogden Valley Rentals of Utah is the first resort to implement its new-to-market, 100% Web-based resort product.
The software application, called PropSoft, is an online, real-time central reservations and property management system that is designed exclusively for the condo reservation and management market.
“The first sale of any new product is significant,” said Peter Adam, CEO of RSI. “Not only have we proven the need for PropSoft, we now know resorts are prepared to pay for it, both up-front and on a recurring monthly basis. And, because we truly are a leader in online, real-time systems, we expect this sale to be the first of many. Any property management company that manages vacation condos, homes, time shares or charter boats is a potential sale.”
Added Adam, “Ogden Valley Rentals was an interesting sale because their remote location does not yet have high speed or DSL connectivity. They solved the problem by accessing our servers and their database using wireless Internet connectivity.”
Mr. Gord Flack, Director of Sales for RSI commented, “We are in the process of increasing our sales activities by hiring new sales staff and signing agreements with sales companies around the world- We intend to build upon the opportunity we know this sale has created for us within the very large, and growing, resort industry.”
PropSoft is a fully featured Condo Management system with the ability to take online reservations from any Web site in real time. It seamlessly generates revenue and expense statements for individual owners and includes customer data management and travel agent commission accounting.
