Air Canada announced today the launch of a new on-line booking product that enables its top tier Aeroplan members to make travel arrangements using their personal computer. Air Canada’s Personal Ticket Office (PTO) is a software application available on CD-ROM that allows Aeroplan Super Elite, Elite and Prestige members to plan and purchase trips.
PTO allows customers to make airline, car and hotel reservations, comparison shop for best fares, create personalized travel profiles and request seats directly from a seat map. In addition, customers can choose from any one of a full range of ticketing options: E-Ticket, Free Ticket Delivery, City Sales Office/Airport pick-up or ticketing through their favorite travel agency.

Distribution of Personal Ticket Office CD-ROMs to Aeroplan members is already underway. During the coming seven months, Air Canada will provide all Aeroplan Super Elite, Elite and Prestige members with the new Personal Ticket Office software.
