Some 5,300 agents have registered to use Amadeus Consolidator Shopper since its September launch, the company said.

The CRS vendor recently introduced an enhanced version of the product, which integrates published and consolidator fares, shows if a consolidator fare is available and displays fares in either U.S. or Canadian currency.

The Consolidator Shopper Web site, at www.consolidatorshopper.com
, enables any agent in the U.S. and Canada—regardless of its CRS affiliation—to compare and book published and consolidator fares.

The service is free to agents, who receive an e-mail confirmation and password within one business day.

A feature of the product is a published-fare ticketing and mailing service geared toward non-Amadeus users, agencies without a CRS and independent agencies without ticketing ability.
