Sabre Acquires DRBA.

As part of its strategy to penetrate the small- and medium-sized airline software solutions market, Sabre has acquired David R. Bornemann Associates, Inc. (DRBA), a privately-held developer of Windows-based scheduling and operations software for the aviation industry.

As part of the transaction, Sabre will acquire DRBA`s full line of leading edge Windows-based flight operations and crew management products, and more than 60 customers. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

DRBA has provided aviation software solutions since 1978. The company provides “off-the-shelf” crew management and flight operations software products that appeal to the small- and medium-sized airline customers. DRBA has an approximately 40-person employee base that operates from four US-based offices. DRBA customers include Continental Express, Hawaiian, Air Jamaica and American Trans Air.

Mr. Bornemann, a 30-year industry veteran, will serve as Vice President within the Sabre organization. DRBA will operate as a group within Sabre`s Airline Solutions business unit and will be based in Phoenix.
