E-City Solution for Fog City Taxi.
E-City Software, Inc. has sold its first resale license of its TaxiDispatch product for $500,000.
The TaxiDispatch product is a mapping software tool that facilitates identification, tracking, dispatch, navigation and electronic transactions for mobile fleets.
The TaxiDispatch application is the first of a number of Dispatch products planned for development over the next 12 to 18 months. E-City Software has developed a core library of 3D mapping, dispatch and vehicle navigation technologies. The Dispatch products that are being derived from these technologies have an application across a wide field of vehicle dispatch environments, fleet and mobile asset management, tracking and navigation.
E-City sold a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license, including the right to sublicense the TaxiDispatch product to Fog City Taxi, Inc., a San Francisco based taxi company for $500,000. The resale license is restricted to the eight western states where Fog City has distribution relationships.
