Bucuti goes wireless

Bucuti Beach Resort has announced the installation of a new high speed, wireless broadband internet connection at this premier destination for romantic travel.

Bucuti`s wireless internet “hotspot” is accessible to guests throughout the resort, guest rooms and the resort`s beach. Bucuti Beach Resort is the first and only resort in Aruba currently offering this high speed, wireless internet connectivity to its guests.
“Over the past few years, we have realised that internet connectively for our guests is not only a thoughtful amenity, it is a necessity,” states Susan Beimans, co-owner of Bucuti Beach Resort. “As a family owned property, we are able to recognise trends and act quickly. It is all a part of our efforts to go above and beyond our guests` desires.”
The new high-speed, wireless broadband internet connection installed at the resort is known as the wireless fidelity or wi-fi system. The wi-fi system was connected throughout the resort in less than a week by SETAR, Aruba`s government telecommunications company.

Since its opening in 1987, Bucuti Beach Resort has been widely recognised for implementing state-of-the-art technology at their resort. In 1999, Bucuti Beach was the first property in Aruba to offer resort guests a business center with free, high speed internet access and complimentary email accounts. Aruba`s local telecommunications company is currently working on the implementation of the wi-fi system throughout the island`s tourism infrastructure. In addition, several hotels and resorts in Aruba are following Bucuti Beach`s lead and are pipelining to launch the wi-fi system in the coming months.

In addition Bucuti has commenced work on phase two of its 39 new Tiara Suites, which will open in March.
