Grenada`s latest restaurant offers food and thought

20th Nov 2003

Located in the quaint fishing village of Woburn in the parish of St. George`s, Grenada`s newest restaurant, Rumors Vegetarian Restaurant and Bar, is sure to give everyguest a culinary and educational experience that is simply unforgettable.

Catering to vegetarians and vegans, Rumors offers a menu featuring only the freshest locally produced vegetables, fruits, spices and seafood found in Grenada.
As part of the dining experience at Rumors, patrons are introduced to the local produce they will be eating through a 15-minute seminar on the history of the items, when they were introduced to Grenada, their health
benefits and other ways they can be used. Afterwards, a meal that includes each of the items is served. As the guests depart, each receives a recipe book that includes the recipe on how to prepare the meal they just experienced.

Each week chef Margaret Strachan creates new dishes that will keep guests
coming back for more. And, with each season, Rumors doesn`t waste any time
bringing new Grenadian
treasures to the table.

Patrons will also enjoy Rumors tropical look and casual ambiance. With
seating for up to 60 people, the restaurant is located on the waters edge and has a view that demands attention. Constant cooling breezes and
relaxing world music in the background add to Rumors laid back appeal.
