The 5th Annual Leadership Dialogue on “Trade and Investment Opportunities in the Caribbean” will take place at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington D.C. on Friday November 14, 2003.
The themes to be addressed include: Opportunities in the Tourism Sector, Information Technology and Options in Finance. The Tourism sector and Information technology Sector have been targeted for development by the governments in the region.

Since 1998, the Dialogue which is restricted to no more than 40 participants to enable a round table format brings together Embassy Officials, US government agency officials, representatives from multi-lateral organisations such at the World Bank and the Inter-American development Bank and the private sector to discuss challenges and opportunities to doing business in the Caribbean.
Speakers include: Embassy of St. Vincent & Grenadines; Embassy of Jamaica; Overseas Private Investment Corporation; Department of Commerce; and the MultiLateral Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank.
Executives and members of Industry and Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce from the regions are especially encouraged to attend. Pre-Registration is Required. 

The 10th Annual Caribbean American Heritage Gala, hosted by Joseph Marcell with guest appearance by Kojo Nnamdi and Image Band, will follow the Leadership Dialogue on “Doing Business in the Caribbean”, which will also be held on Friday, November 14th, 2003 at the J.W. Marriott.
