Allen Chastanet, former Air Jamaica vp of marketing and sales has opened his new Coco Kreole resort on his native island of St. Lucia. The property was expected to open on Oct 18 but but instead opened two days later on Oct 20.
The 20-room property has opened with high season prices of US$80 dollers per night, per person. The price includes a continental breakfast.
On his website www.cocokreole.com, Chastanet says of the boutique hotel, “We want to provide our guests with the style of South Beach, a little European chic and a lot of Caribbean colour and warmth,” he goes on to add, “and we’ve designed the hotel to reflect these goals.”
