The Hoffman family restored Montpelier Plantation Inn to a luxury boutique hotel in 2002, in keeping up with their traditional ethics they have created some unique holiday packages for 2003. By mixing a variety of traditions, Montpelier Plantation Inn is celebrating the holidays with a twist.
Montpelier will celebrate this Thanksgiving with “Wine and Turkey” activities. From November 20 - 30, 2003 activities will include an unforgettable Thanksgiving dinner that blends Caribbean with American/English traditions, a wine lover’s tradition of celebrating the new wine season with the first Beaujolais Nouveau for 2003, experiencing French Bistro food in the Caribbean with the new wine flown in for the evening, a fresh fish BBQ with live music in the Courtyard under the stars, Montpelier’s world famous Beach Cricket BBQ, A Touch of History, a special tour of Nevis, and a Managers’ Sunset Cocktail Party with live music.
During the Thanksgiving period nightly room rates begin at US$300 per room, per night including breakfast and afternoon tea daily.
Celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Montpelier is offering a special seven-night package, available December 18, 2003 - January 6, 2004. The package includes seven nights accommodations during this time period, with upgrade to Canopy or Four Poster Bedroom (subject to availability), full English breakfast and afternoon tea daily, a fresh fish BBQ with live music in the Courtyard under the stars, one candlelight dinner for two on the Terrace overlooking the lights of Charlestown and St. Kitts (excluding Christmas or New Year’s Eve), half day island tour, one hour massage for two in room or on Montpelier’s private beach, a climb to Nevis Peak or eco-hike in the rain forest, Montpelier’s world famous Beach Cricket BBQ.
The Christmas/New Year’s package also includes airport transfers from Nevis Newcastle to Montpelier (reimbursed), fresh fruit in room daily, welcoming rum punch, nightly turn down service, concierge service, tax and service charge, and is priced at US$4,162 per couple.
For those that will be at the Inn in the days leading up to Christmas, the Inn will host Christmas carols in The Great Room.
On Christmas Montpelier will offer a special Christmas dinner. Guests staying at the Inn over New Year’s Eve, are invited to take part in a “Black & White & All That Glitters” New Year’s dance with live music.
During the Christmas/New Year’s Eve time period Montpelier will host a Wine Tasting on the Quarter Deck, Managers’ Sunset Cocktail Party with live music, Historical Talk/Plantation Ruin Amble and Plantation Croquet Tournament with prizes.
