Innovative communication`s Ebbesen to speak at OPIC conference in Russia

Samuel E. Ebbesen, a senior vice president of Innovative Communication Corporation, will be a featured speaker at a conference September 24 in St. Petersburg, Russian
Federation, hosted by the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

   
Ebbesen is a member of the board of directors of both Innovative and
OPIC.

“Investing in Russia: Partnership for Growth Conference” will address
opportunities in the energy, technology and telecommunications, and food
processing and distribution sectors. Ebbesen will discuss telecommunications.
Other presentations will be made by officials from OPIC, the Export-Import
Bank of the United States, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and key
Russian government officials.

OPIC was established as an agency of the U.S. government in 1971. It helps U.S. businesses invest overseas, fosters economic development in new and emerging markets, complements the private sector in managing risks associated with foreign direct investment, and supports U.S. foreign policy. Because OPIC charges market-based fees for its products, it operates on a self-
sustaining basis at no net cost to taxpayers.
