Benjamin Davies new VP and GM at Radisson Cable Beach, Bahamas

The Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas, has named Benjamin Davis as the new Vice President & General Manager. Davis has been in the industry for the past 30 years. Effective immediately, he will oversee the resortå‘s 800 plus employees and assume responsibility for the daily operations of the 700-room oceanfront property.

“With the opening of our newly redesigned golf course and an even greater emphasis on guest services, Davis will play an integral role in the success of these new efforts,” said George Myers, chairman of The Myers Group. “His leadership skills, industry knowledge and consummate professionalism will exemplify our existing high standards,” Myers added.


Prior to coming to the Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort, Davis was the operations director for the 1,350-room Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, on Grand Bahama Island. He was originally involved in the opening of this property as its hotel manager.
Davis has held a multitude of other hotel managerial positions throughout the Caribbean and Europe. A few of those include Almond Beach Village in Barbados, Trusthouse Forte and Forte Hotels, Nassau Beach Hotel, Jamaica Pegasus, Sandy Lane Hotel, Barbados, The Grosvenor House, London, The Inn on the Park, a Four Seasons hotel, Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada and Le Chondrosa Hotel in Courchevel, France.
Davis holds qualifications from the UK and is a member of AHCIMA. He resides in Nassau, The Bahamas, with his wife, daughter and son.
