Fellowships Available for CMEx

Fellowships are being offered to journalists from the Caribbean, the United States and Europe to enable them to attend the fifth Caribbean Media Exchange on Sustainable Tourism (CMEx V), to be held in Barbados December 4-8, 2003
CMEx, to be held at Almond Village resort, is a gathering of leading Caribbean and international journalists and editors for the lively exchange of ideas between movers and shakers to strengthen awareness of the importance of sustainable tourism in the region. Media professionals value CMEx for not only the heightened awareness of what to look for in considering tourism-related coverage but also on how they can influence the design of sensible tourism policies.

In Barbados, CMEx V will examine “Tourism and the Media: The Next Generation” and how to ensure the region`s best and brightest are drawn to the Caribbean’s largest industry.

Fellowship application forms are available at: www.caribbeanmediaexchange.com/downloads/
