Frontier Adds More Mexican Destinations to its Itinery

Frontier Airlines yesterday announced its intention to add Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo as its next Mexico destination. The Company has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation for authorization to serve Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mexico from its Denver International Airport hub.
The airline already serves, or plans to serve, four cities in Mexico: Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Cancun and Mazatlan.

“Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo is another key destination for Frontier, and it is our intent that when customers think of traveling to Mexico for vacation or business, they automatically think ‘Frontier’,” said Frontier
Vice President of Marketing and Planning, Sean Menke.
If granted authority, the Company plans to begin operating the service in the first calendar quarter of 2004.
