Well-known travel writer Gary Lee arrived in St. Lucia this week to work on a feature story about St. Lucia for the Washington Post. The story is intended to focus on St. Lucia through the eyes of one of its most renowned sons, Nobel Laureate Hon. Derek Walcott.
Walcott has recently begun work on a film, which is based on his famous play Ti Jean, and his Brothers.  Writer Gary Lee has visited a number of St. Lucia’s picturesque sites including a few of those brought to life in many of Walcott’s works.  Lee will be working in conjunction with local photographer Chris Huxley.
